a little thought...a BIGGG idea

Syed Husin Ali Deputy President of Parti KeADILan Rakyat (PKR) and former Secretary of Pena
Language issue, in the past, was given high priority by Pena. But now, I do not hear any significant voice neither from Pena nor Gapena on language issue when subject of Math and Science are taught in English.
A former Secretary of Pena Syed Husin Ali feels the burden awaiting Pena's leadership, now leaded by Datuk Baharudin Zainal or his penname Baha Zain, to bring Malay language back to its position in national education system, which he thinks was tarnished when English is used as the medium of teaching and learning in 2003.
Surely majority of the Malays hope Pena, as national writers association, will push the issue to the limit as it is has been a ball game for general public as well as politicians. There is no excuse for the writers association to avoid the responsibility just because the Ministry did not include them for the roundtable discussion. As the struggle against PPSMI is going to be tougher when certain group of people are taking advantage over the weak leadership of the Malay politicians, Pena must have strength and support from various parties to go against PPSMI.
